No I don't want to turn into him. I never met the guy but I hear things about him being all about the money and to me it's not about the money, it's about the dogs. My first show I lost money, my 2nd one I made a couple dollars

, and i'm not trying to make a bunch of money on this show. i just want to break even at these shows cause hosting a show should NEVER be about the money. I just love giving the people the chance to give the dogs a positive spotlight to the public so everyone can see these dogs are not bad some of the owners are.

I normally don't like to get involved in stuff like this but we are Fighting a pretty HARDCORE battle here in FL as the BSL bill has just passed the first committe hearing.....there is no right or wrong here, just be glad you are "allowed" to still have your dogs and have shows for the dogs! If there is a show every week, trust me, it's a good thing! The more positive exposure for the breed, the better! I hope everyone has a great time at whatever show they will be going to on April 24th.

Thank you Connie, I called/emailed every person on your post about the bsl ya'll are fighting because I just moved from jacksonville not long ago. And alot of people would rather fight over crazy stuff instead of suporting every show cause whether everyone Knows it or not these show are a HUGE POSITIVE for our bully community and both of my last 2 shows have had News Crews at both of them and the news people are AMAZED by how great our breed is when they get to see them first hand! Like my last 2 shows the one on Apr 24 will have news crews from Jacksonville coming up to cover the show and I will email the footage to every Senator in Florida as proof of how great our breed really is THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT PITBULL GEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Listen, I never really spoke to Bradie, but the problem is...people wish they could throw shows or have events.....I have seen it mainly in parties or concerts....being that I used to work in radio, but trust me...its a handful of people that really make money....you have so many fees....Im sure you have to pay rental facility, then maybe a insurance, then your marketing, then your judges, and maybe a few other expenses.....but when it is all said and done, you have to put a value on your time , you spent to make sure it went well...No one will be there saturday morning to open up but you and PJ, you have to run back and forth to make sure your door money is okay, check on kennels, to see if they happy or need anything, its hard work......but i will support you ...Im still looking into a few places for albany...

I TOTALLY agree with you 110% Leroy!!! The funny thing is like I was telling someone else was my 1st show in oct last year I didn't make money and my last show in jan i made a little change and like you said i don't see a problem with making a little bit of money for my time, alot of people think that by throwing a show you make thousands of dollars but like you said u understand the cost of the rental, the ins., the judges, the ribbons, the trophies, dj, etc etc. some people don't think about all that that. And as a word of advice if you plan on hosting a show don't go in it planning on making money go ahead and plan to loose money and that way if you loose money you won't be bummed out and if you make a little bit then your tickled to death, lol. I host these shows by looking at it like this......1)How can I give the people the BEST show for their money. 2)I don't cut corners on expenses I get what is neccessary to host the show. & 3)I hope to atleast break even at the end of the day and not loose money cause REAL Talk nobody doesn't want to LOOSE money.

We all showed Waycross & Perry that not only could the Ukc & Akc do their thing but the ABKC is a force to be reckoned with too. lol I know that abkc show they had a few years back in albany was really nice and its time for the Abkc to go back to Albany
