What type of food are you feeding?
It could be that the dog may not like it! I would recommend using a high energy/high protein such as Black Gold, Taste of the wild,
Diamond Extreme Athlete (I use this).

Try a different brand of dry food.

But in the mean time you can try the following:

1. A supplement (Nuvet/Puppy gold/Unimilk etc.)
2. cottage cheese
3. germ oil (as Dustin said)

I make dog "stew" every day for my dogs. You can make a huge pot and freeze it for convienience. Beef/chicken/trout/organs (liver no more than 2x a week tho) ect mixed with carrots/spinach/broccoli/peas/potatos ect . I give my dogs unlimited Kirkland kibble with the stew and I have to work them hard to keep them from getting too big.
If you just wanted to bulk up b4 a show you could just do the stew thing for 2 months b4.
