You can start a dog learning how to weight pull at any age. Around 6-9 months old is when you will start adding light weights for a beginner pup. Here's a bunch of links that will help you learn how to start drag weighting and/ or weight pulling, along with what equipment you will need:

The walks and running are great.Be sure your food has plenty of protein. Have you considered weight pulling???You could use old weights, tires. It works like resistance training.Spring poles can be fun and effective to.
